West Nile Virus is transmitted by mosquitoes:

New U.S. officials say an infant in the state of Michigan had West Nile virus infection by breast milk of mothers infected with this disease. This is the youngest victims of the deadly disease that can cause damage to the brain.

Your baby has a fever and is not healthy. Her mother began to show signs of West Nile disease last month, after a blood transfusion during childbirth. The people of Michigan are also infected after receiving blood from the same donor.

They found genetic traces of the virus in breast milk of women age 40 and decided to do blood tests for viruses for your son. The result is positive. The mother began breastfeeding than two weeks before being diagnosed with West Nile virus infection.

West Nile Virus is raging in America. It was produced by a migrating birds arrived, and spread to humans by mosquitoes. After entering the body, they attack the brain, causing meningitis, leading to death.
