Trolleys in supermarkets teem with bacteria

Scientists from the University of Arizona conducted a study that found, and is it really safe shopping carts, in which parents put their kids. The result was that the trolley handles dwells more bacteria than a toilet of the same supermarket.

Was checked 85 trucks and 72 per cent of them were found fecal bacteria. To 36 investigational sites have decided to look more closely and take with them samples.

The results were disappointing - at half the trucks discovered the bacterium E. coli. Not to mention other kinds of bacteria.

Note that in 2006 in the U.S. during the epidemic of E. coli E. coli killed 3 people and sick 200.

According to Professor of Microbiology, Charles Gerba, the shopping carts are more bacteria than the toilet, because it is held constant cleaning toilets with disinfectant. But the truck wipe very rarely write personal money.
